I'm Arial Ten and I wrote this because I've been heavily inspired by veggi's music. If you like veggi, you might like my warm groovy dance music.
My Connection to veggi
In the arena of genre-less dance music, veggi has always felt like a shining beacon of the next generation. Ascending on the back of savvy social media and hugely viral moments, veggi feels like he’ll be a fixture of dance music for quite a while.
veggi’s music is dance-forward, but still tasteful and easy to listen to. He borrows the minor 7th chords, swinging drums, and heavy hitting bass of a Kaytranada, but sprinkles in influences from a variety of other sources.
veggi is able to carefully tiptoe that narrow line between dance and chill, a balance I also try to strike. You can imagine his beats comfortably entertaining the crowd at a pregame or a nightclub.
Like some of my other favorite producers, Veggi is able to collaborate with both rappers and singers.
His ability to play in both the hip hop and electronic spheres is a testament to his skill and taste.
Some of his biggest hits are with some of my favorite rising Canadian artists: Toronto’s very own DijahSB and Montreal’s Lowgo.
veggi is an extremely talented producer and I think he has the work ethic to eventually push him to the next level of stardom.
Who is Veggi?
Southern California native Veggi is a versatile artist and producer who has been making waves in the music scene. With a background in guitar and saxophone, he transitioned into production, creating a blend of hip-hop, R&B, pop, electronic, and lo-fi.
veggi first gained widespread attention on TikTok in 2020, amassing over 1 million followers and achieving tens of millions of views with his unique productions and catchy mashups.
His sounds have been used by big names like Addison Rae, Gwen Stefani, and even the NFL.
In 2021, veggi released his first official label single "WALK AWAY" with Lowly/Lost Fiction, followed by the lo-fi disco track "LEVITATING," which gained support from Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor.
With his diverse production style and boundary-pushing music, Veggi is a rising star to watch.
