I'm Arial Ten and I wrote this because I've been inspired by Higgo's music. If you like Higgo, you might like my warm groovy dance music.
My Connection to Higgo
Higgo makes great catchy dance music. And unlike some other house heads, Higgo doesn't forget to make his music fun. There's a certain joy and bounciness in his music that really catches your ear.
I first heard Higgo after he won Disclosure's remix contest a few years ago and was gobsmacked at how groovy his music was. Higgo architects all his songs with great bass lines and his signature UK garage style drums.
And I swear, something about his kick and sidechain just feels so groovy.

I appreciate Higgo's relative pop sensibility. He makes house bangers that you could enjoy at a festival, but they have just enough vocal and sparkle to conceivably be on the radio.
I think his favorite song of mine is Sleeping Alone, which shows Higgo isn't afraid to let the vocal play the protagonist.

Higgo also seems like he has a realistic and ideal career arc to what I might be able to achieve. He's slowly plugged away and honed his craft. He puts out high quality singles with R&B singers. He increases his scope with amazing remixes.
Who is Higgo?

Higgo burst onto the UK Garage and Bass scene in 2019, quickly gaining recognition for his unique blend of old-school hip hop influences with the raw, bass-heavy sound of the UK underground.
Hailing from the UK, Higgo's music has caught the attention of top industry names like Conducta, often dubbed the ‘Prince of Garage,’ and Todd Edwards, earning him widespread support across major platforms like 1Xtra, Rinse, and Reprezent.
His debut EP, '95 EP', released under Rare Supply, shot to the top of the Juno Download chart, with the track “Work” making its way onto Spotify’s ‘New UK Garage’ playlist. Higgo’s growing popularity has led to headline shows across the UK and high-profile festival bookings, including appearances at Forbidden Forest and BassFest.
With his distinctive sound and increasing demand as a remixer, Higgo is set to become a key figure in the ongoing UK Garage revival.
